ili - A Tool for Scientists and Bioinformaticians to Create Interactive Maps
`ili is a tool for scientists and bioinformaticians to map their data in the environment it is created, in 2D or 3D. This is possible for the most common forms of molecular data: a table with the sample names and variables, a plot with the data, etc. The user can select an element, map its data on a photo or 3D surface, and link it to any element by hovering over it. This way, they can see what element corresponds to what is in the original table and plot. In addition, it is possible to link an element to a given element on a photo or 3D surface by clicking on the link and dragging it to the desired position. Besides, the user can get the original data for that element and view it in the original table.
`ili can also be used to create interactive maps of any scale. To achieve that, there are a lot of parameters available for 3D map creation: the scale, rotation, translation and tilt. If the user wants to zoom in on some area on a map, they can specify its coordinate by hovering over it, and then clicking the button "Zoom in". Alternatively, they can specify the amount of zoom and move the map to the desired position.
